A short introduction to time travel
What could be cooler than traveling through time? There is no
other theory that captures the imagination more than the concept of time travel.
You could go in the future and see how will you be when you'll be old, or you
could go in the past and see major events such as "world war" or the "begining
of life" or you could meet famous people like George Washington or other person
that you idolise. It's these ideas that have made the time travel concept so
fascinating among the people and the sf writers.
There are three major ways to travel in time: through Black Holes, Wormholes or
Cosmic Strings.
Traveling in time through Black Holes
A black hole is a small space in the universe that is made by a star that had reached the end of its life. Everything that comes in contact with a black hole is sucked in, even light. SF writers belive that if we would go into a black hole( to be sucked in it), we would travel through time. They think that if we would enter a black hole we would go to another time and space than we were at the begining. Theoreticly this is not possible for humans because at the end of a black hole, considering that the force is very big, our body will desintegrate.
Traveling in time through Wormholes
Wormhole is a tunel throuh space and time. Scientist belive that we could travel in time through wormholes because, they belive that in a wormhole we are accelerated to the speed of light and that gives us the posibility to travel through time( acording to Albert Einstein's theory of relativity).

Traveling in time through Cosmic Strings
Another theory for how we could travel through time uses the idea of cosmic strings. This idea was first proposed by J. Richard Gott in 1991. Cosmic strings are objects that some scientists believe were formed in the early universe. These cosmic strings, which are thinner than an atom, would generate an enormous amount of gravitational pull on any objects that passes near them. Objects that will attache themselves to a cosmic string could travel at incredible speeds, and because their gravitational force distorts spacetime, they could be used for time travel. By pulling two cosmic strings close together, or one string close to a black hole, we might be able to warp spacetime enough to create closed time-like curves. A spcecraft that travels near by a cosmic string could be turned into a time maschine. The spacecraft will be atached to the cosmic string and it would travel through time because of the enormous speed that the spacecraft would be propel out of the cosmic string.
